Ella's Christmas!

Here are a few pictures of Ella at Christmas.

She did really well with all our outings. We didn't think she'd do as well as she did considering we were sleeping at Mammy's house. But she was a big girl and slept between 7 1/2 hours to 8 1/2 hours, the three nights we were there.

She was spoiled rotten and we'd like to thank everyone once again for all the gifts. -S

Ella Getting Ready!

Ella getting ready for Daddy to pick us up. Ella's been really good lately. I don't want to jinx us but the last week, the shortest amount of hours she's slept at night is 7 & 1/2. Yay for us! Last night she slept 8 & 1/2, even better. She is now down to 6 bottles a day instead of 7, that's nice too. That's all for now. -S

Here's Ella posing with one of her Christmas Outfits. She wore it over to Grand-Maman's house yesterday, where we had dinner for Grand-Maman's Birthday. Ella just loves smiling. Just give her a little attention and she is all smiles. -S

I don't know what's up with Ella but she slept all day yesterday and only 4 hours last night. The last time she slept that little was probably a month ago.

We're having dinner with Grandmaman tonight for her birthday. Happy Birthday Grandmaman! I hope all is good with everyone. -S

Ella loves playing in her baby Einstein Activity Center. She doesn't really like being on her stomach but we set her down that way so she'll strengthen her neck muscles. Look at how strong she is.

Sly forgot his cell phone at home this morning so he called asking us to bring it to him. Ella and I went in and Ella got to meet all of Sly's co-workers. -S

Sly thought of Ella on his last trip, he brought her back a Bumbo Seat. Ella loves it. In short increments of course, she gets tired of holding herself up. She'll be loving this thing even more once she can hold her head up all the time. Isn't she changing so much? There's another smile. The picture is a little out of focus because Ella was moving so much. She is starting to smile more and more each day. No colics yesterday. Yah!! Hopefully it was a one time thing. If only we could be so lucky. -S

Effects of The Vaccines, Colics & Smiles

This is what Ella looked like all day after getting her shots. Poor Thing! The vaccines through her whole body out of wack.

The Doctor said all was good. She is still in the 97 percentile. If she keeps going like this, she will be 20 pounds at 6 months. She is now 14lbs, 5 ozs.

The shots through her out of wack so bad that she has now started to have colics. Never had Ella had this problem. She cried more yesterday than she ever cried in her entire life. Here's a picture of Sly holding her in the anti-colic position. Thank God for books. This position really helps.
Even though she had pretty bad colics yesterday, she did manage to sleep a 6 hour night. Yah!!!


On Saturday we were able to capture a smile with our camera. So here is Ella smiling. Isn't she just so cute? I know, I sound like a proud Mom.

2 Month Appointment Tomorrow!

Ella has her 2 month appointment tomorrow. We're seeing the doctor for the first time since the delivery. We saw the nurse at her one month check up. She is also getting two vaccines tomorrow. Hopefully she will do well. I can't wait to see how big she's gotten. Last time she was weighed was at 6 weeks. I know she's gotten bigger since because she's outgrowing another pj. I can't believe how fast she's outgrowing everything. We went to Costco today and we were standing in line beside 3 other babies. Ella was the biggest by far. She was taller and heavier than all of them. Even bigger than a 4 month old. The 4 month old weighed 14 lbs. Ella weighed 13, 2 weeks ago. People look at her and then they look at me and they say, she must not take after you. No one believes she's only 8 weeks. Someone called her a boy again today. I'm getting so annoyed. Only a month before she can get her ears pierced and believe me we are going to be there the day she turns 3 months. Ella is going to get her ears pierced at the same time as her friend Audrey Belanger. Audrey is 5 1/2 months older than Ella. If the Belangers decided to move here for good, i'm sure they'd grow up to be best of friends. -S

Another Picture!!

Poor Ella! I never leave her alone. I'm always taking pictures. She'd been making faces while I was changing her diaper so I attempted to capture a smile but I had no luck. Instead I got this look which pretty much tells me to stop taking pictures.

Ella In Her Baby Einstein Activity Center

Ella is getting so big. She is now so much more attentive than she was. Today she played in her Baby Einstein Activity Center for an hour. It was so cute to watch her. She'd let out a yell here and there.

Ella's New Bath Robe!!!

Thanks Diane for getting Ella this beautiful Robe. It is so soft. I tried it on Ella today and thought she looked so cute, I just had to take a picture.

I left her in it until bath time and she fell asleep wearing it. I'm waiting for her to wake up, to give her a bath.

Ella and Her Cousins

Ella with Jeremy. I can't get over how sweet Jeremy is with Ella. He just loves her so much. He's always giving her kisses and saying how much he loves her. It really is the cutest thing.



Emily just loves Ella too. She seems to think Ella is hers. The minute she walks into Mammy's house, she asks if Ella is there. And if she is she asks to take her.

Felix likes holding Ella too, just not as much as Jeremy. Felix is way too busy doing other things. That kid has so much energy, he doesn't know what to do with it. He's so cute.

Guillaume & Daph are older than the rest. They love Ella but aren't as easily impressed as the other cousins. They are both really good with her. Ella is already inlove with Gui. She can just sit there staring at him.
