Ella Just Hanging Out!

We attended my cousin Patricia's baby shower this weekend. There we saw baby Alix who is 2 1/2 weeks younger than Ella. He's so cute and tiny. He is still smaller at 3 weeks than Ella was when she was born. Ella looks so big beside him. He's wearing newborn sizes and Ella is already outgrowing 3 months. I can't believe how big she is getting.

Ella is starting to try to talk. Not real words of course but oohs and ahhs. It's really cute. She's also trying to smile. It's so much fun to see.

Spending the weekend in Richmond wasn't the greatest thing for her routine. She didn't want to take her nap in her playpen and had problems sleeping one night. She is going to have to learn to sleep elsewhere because Christmas is just around the corner.

We thought we were going to be in trouble once we got home but she ended up sleeping great that night. 5 3/4 hours of sleep, that is so awesome. There's nothing like sleeping in your own bed. The following night which was last night, she only slept 4 hours in a row. That's her normal routine so I guess I can't complain. We are starting to see more 5 hours than we were.

She didn't want to take any naps in her crib yesterday, she's all messed up from this weekend still. We're going to have to work on that even if she does fuss a little.
She got her first christmas ornament from grandma this weekend and it is so cute. It says Our Little Princess. We hung it on our mini tree. We aren't doing a big tree this year and yes we already have decorations up. Ella just loves looking at the lights on the tree.
